City Pump Track Contract Awarded

We are excited to learn the City of Revelstoke has awarded the contract to build a pump track in Centennial Park to Velosolutions. Construction is set to take place next summer. A pump track has been a dream of the RCA for over a decade and we are thrilled to see it get to this stage. Velosolutions has extensive experience building world-class pump tracks and we can’t wait to ride it once it is open!

We would like to thank all the cyclists of Revelstoke who expressed their desire for a pump track during the City’s recent Parks Master Plan process. Special credit goes out to Harrison Salisbury, RCA Director of Trail Construction, for joining the Board and getting the cycling community to engage in the Parks planning process, which made this a top city priority. Finally, thank you to Laurie Donato, the City’s Director of Parks, Recreation, and Culture, and Revelstoke Council for taking the lead on this project and securing the funding to have it built.
